Urgent Help Needed Reading Area - Re Stolen B.Dog Pups

http://dogweb.co.uk/talk/viewtopic.php?t=4142

These pups are being offered for sale in the Reading area of Berks. Is there anyone from Reading that can help doglost, they need someone to go and look at these pups and confirm that they are the ones stolen. The owner cannot go as they will be recognised. The police will only act on it if we get a positive identification.

If you can help please contact Jayne immediately on 01909 733366

Assume it would be a stupid suggestion to say - shouldn't the police be invited to intervene?

I would go to the police again but this time threaten that if they dont take any action then you will take it to a higher level or another force and make a complaint, I have found this always gets their arses in gear, what I have noticed is up here in Scotland at least they seem totally unbothered about any issues regarding dogs or animals.

Seems odd though that they would not check it out, I would definitley try the complaint route guaranteed you would not actually have to as they would check it out.

Police know exactly where the pups are but wont act until we get one more confirmed identification.

Anyone that works closely with stolen dogs knows only too well that this is common practice - unless you find a dog friendly bobby.
