I'm so sorry Laura, but I have to say that I still believe that Spotty was NOT in the wrong.

So sad when idiot humans react in this totally OTT way, and your poor boy lost his life because of it.

It's just so sad x0x

I'm so sorry you must be devasted, poor Spotty, he wasn't to blame, sounds like he was afraid. What a sad beginning for you.

i spoke to a few different re-homing places and they said that once he has done it a few times that he is just really dominant and territorial and he would eventually turn on his family, i wanted to put him away for love not for hate if he really caused something serious

i miss him so much there is just a void in the house, my poor baby xxxxxx

*hugs* - there will be a void for some time - especially considering the circumstances of Spotty's passing.

We are all here for you, Laura

I'm so sorry for your loss Laura.

I just wanted to point out in case anyone in a similar situation is reading this, that no-one should be diagnosing a dog is "really dominant" or "territorial" over the phone - best bet is always to go to a reputable behaviourist who can help assess the dog and give advice.

Many rescue behaviourists are fab, but it will vary from place to place.

Wys
