Dreading work

Well, I am off to work in about 10 mins, and I am dreading it.
Yesterday, I was £100 down in my money. All my paperwork was correct, and my adding up etc, so I just don't know where the £100 is

I have racked my brains to remember which customer it may have been (I obviously took £100 less from someone), but I was so busy, I served that many people. (I work in a warehouse, and I took £14400 yesterday, in 3 1/2 hours)

If they haven't 'found' it when I go in, I will probably get a disciplinary
I feel sick at the thought.
I know I can't change it, or do anything about it, but I am still worried.

Hevvur, sorry to hear this, I once lost £500 whilst working in a Bookies, I was devastated, obviously I had paid out to much on a bet by accident. Hope all goes well. xx

I wouldn't have thought they could sack you for one isolated incident?

LOL good answer.. i work 4thomas cook as an accountant so i deal with millions of £'s worth of invoices everday and i do admit i have made some mistakes but every1 makes mistakes its human nature and if they sacked every1 that made honest mistakes 99% of the people would be sacked the 1% that would be still working wud be people that do things which are so so simply u cant make mistakes lol like cleaning up road kill on motorways lol

Ohh hope you don't get into too much trouble, at the end of the day all humans make mistakes - that's what makes us human.
