The was a lot of wallowing from Tonks and some super speedy running through the shallows from Remus...but neither of the them can actually swim. Tonks fell in to a pond when she was tiny, went down like a sack of spuds and then wouldn't go near water for a year or so. I've never seen a sighthound swimming before...can they?!
Thank you thank you thank you! The children were covered in mud and fell asleep before we'd even left the car park...we were there for three hours again though.

When I got home a neighbour asked me if I had to exercise the dogs! Well, I don't have to....but I'm quite fond of the way my house and garden look! Also I like walking them....odd I know! I wonder where he thinks I'm taken them when we drive off in the car for a couple of hours each day....the shops?!

Beautiful photos - looks like you had a great day for a family outing. Your kids look so sweet, and it's so lovely to see them and your/their dogs are having a blast and enjoying the sunshine.

A muddy pup is a happy pup...not just true of dogs!


I think they can, but just depends whether/how they have been introduced to it and whether they enjoy or dislike it.
