Wish me luck

I just applied for a new job working in the admin secton of the Blue Cross. I have been seriously unhappy in my job for about a year with a horrendous boss that really likes to hammer your confidence and recently we have the threat of redundancy hanging over us they can't make up their minds and have been stringing it out, so its time to go. It will be much nearer home and part time giving me loads more time to spend with my dogs and the rescue dogs I work with, plus it has the advantage of being for a company that does something I recognise as important. im just not sure I can wait 10 days till the closing date.

Hi Alexa - best wishes for the potential opportunity I really hope it works out in your favour....just take a deep breath and count the days, they will pass soon enough, try and focus on the good things that are happening and it'll help enormously - I tend to hum when I think a bad thought (not deliberately it just happens) and when I realise I'm humming I force my mind to think of something nicer...I know weird little habit but it helps surprisingly

Best wishes Alexa

All the very best for this.

I rate the Blue Cross too; we had a lovely lurcher from them.
