Saying No without causing offence

Help please.
The neighbours opposite we are quite friendly with, anyway despite all our efforts to put them off breeding there bitch they are still planning on mating her.We have explained about all the testing etc but they can't be bothered

They want to use our dog Tyler, but there is no way on earth he is going to an unregistered, unhealth tested bitch. It's unethical and pointless.

How do I say no your not using him without causing offence, the last thing we want to do is offend them.

Simply tell them he is only at stud to approved bitches, those that are registered, health tested and infection tested and the fee is £750!

Agreed, that's not too insulting. I'd just say that you won't stud with untested bitches.

I agree, i'd just say you'd never put him to stud on an untested bitch and then maybe they would be more inclined to get her done?

I was in the very same situation, which I hated, as I hate to say No anyway, and feel obliged to give reasons !

Contract with breeder, which does not allow you to breed with him. Plus you must be able to produce all certification regarding health tests ( which they will be unable to do)
Good Luck x

Point out any pups, wouldn't be registered.
Also just tell them the truth, and you don't want the responability of a litter of pups at the mo being the studs owner.
