All insurance companies will have a limit on their cover, no matter what type of cover you get.

A life time cover will cover a condition for life or when the limit runs out.

But the higher cover you have the higher premium you will pay.

If it stops when the limit runs out it's not a lifetime policy. Some companies word it so you think your dog is covered for life when in fact they're not they're only covered for x amount and when that runs out you're lumbered with the bills. Always best to get a true lifetime policy i wouldn't take out anything else.
