Well i have been using the 6 fish variety for quite some considerable time now and never seen or felt one, even when the food has become wet (I use it for tracking).

And the kibble is very small (which is one of the many reasons I use it).

I often wonder if some reviews are like those of Trip Advisor ie not always completely without an agenda.............

I am on lots of forums and know many big outfits that use it and this is the first I have heard of the alleged issue.

Will speak to the local agent tomorrow.

But if you think it is a problem then do not use it, there are HUNDREDS of brands available

Applaws is another grain free food.

Bob and Lush is another.

Acana, made by the same company as orijen just less meat in and cheaper. Also grain free

Barking heads is an ok food, not grain free but looks pretty good ingredient wise. And Arden Grange.

Fish for dogs too is also grain free.

Simpsons premium dog a grain free range, the sensitive version.

ZiwiPeak dry food is also good food.

Arden Grange for us. Changed from hills science plan and it's been a huge success - Bailiie loves it and needs no encouragement to eat it like she did with her hills

Well no wonder I have not heard of anything, as it would have been all over the forums if this was an issue at present.

same quality ingredients but cheaper (slightly)
I have had numerous clients have really good success with this. Is quite a bit cheaper where I am, and it not as rich as the Orijen

Looks ok but maybe should be re-named potato and duck as potato is the main first ingredient??
Analysis:
Protein 26%, Oil 12%, Fibre 4%, Ash 10%
Ingredients:
Potato (min 35%), duck meal (min 26%), peas, beet pulp, poultry fat, brewers yeast, linseed, digest, minerals and vitamins

I know a lot of people that feed this with good results plus the price is very competitive but as the op says what suits one dog may not suit another.
