Thats OK---I am more than happy---just note that no way will I be anywhere near any collar on a dog.

It has to be a working collar which is why it needs to be supplied by us----otherwise you could disable your one----being as your OH is an electricity exxpert.

Who is the person who knows about wolf crosses that you think I should learn from when you cxome down?

BTW---I am happy to learn about wolf crosses (especially as I live with one)----but I can't see how that relates to your dogs?

Don't get your point about Zeff, Tassle. So what? Are you trying to tell me how wonderful you are because you bought a dog after just 3 emails and 1 visit?
- turn it round . You said I must understand what needed to be done - so I told you what I did.

I would never say I was wonderful from taking him from the situation he was in. I had no intention of coming home with any dog, let alone an underweight people phobic puppy.

Err....Zeff is a wagger. Major wagger at other dogs, and at me, and now some few people he knows well.

I was also wagged at by a Wolf at the AWS. Peyto.

Got a nice wag and a greeting.

Well, not to put too fine a point on it Ben, I have just told my hubby what you have said, and his verbatim response was "What a load of tosh!"

He has also explained to me that the instructions for the collar specifically point out that with a heavy coated dog you need to make absolutely sure that the contacts are touching the skin - no skin contact, no working collar.

Hence, I repeat, it is far more painful for a human being with bare skin to test the e collar than it is for a double coated dog like Ben.

Absolutely not Rune, you use OUR collar, or none at all. How do I know that you haven't rigged YOUR collar up to electrocute me!!

The deal is our collar - which of course you can test on yourself to make sure it is working, if you don't trust me - or not at all.

Gnasher you are mad---you have just said the collar has to touch the dogs skin----so what has the coat got to do with it?
