Whats the limit?

of dogs that a person should be taking out at one time?

Ive taken 3 dogs out at once - 2 collies and a springerx...
all onlead... if they all dragged me at the same time i honestly think i could have stopped thm

I now only walk two confidently by the road/fields etc

I know it all depends on size of the person/strength etc...and i really dont care what anyone says - even the most well behaved dog might get it in its head and run/pull accross the road.....

I only ask this question as i saw a woman who was skinnier and smaller than me walking a whippet, 2 DDb's and a mastiff lol! (on her own by a main road)...

thoughts/experience???

I manage my three ok, I sometimes have to put them in a sit in a situation where i think if i dont i would be dragged, lol!!
It really depends imo how well behaved, trained the dogs are rather than the size and number.

Also its foreseeing things before they happen and that helps you to be in control when having more than one dog out.

I`m OK with 3 - 4 tends to get me confused. But these are my dogs and I know them. I wouldn`t like to walk two or more of other people`s dogs.

I have never had much luck with more than one. Mine seem to be smart enough to know they have me outnumbered and take advantage of it.

I regularly walk 4, it definitely depends on the dogs though. I used to walk 3 Afghans and a crossbred with no problem but I don't think I could do it now.
