Bart, Patterdale Terrier, DOB 03

Bart, Patterdale Terrier, DOB 03

His Story: Bart was living with other dogs for his first 6 months then went in with an elderly couple as an only dog. His owners died and he came to us and has proved to enjoy dogs company.

Salient points: Lovely Patterdale who could suit only dog status or in with a pack. No cats or small furries. Enjoys the car, housetrained and losing weight having gained a few extra pounds!

Advert: Bart is a charmer. A delightful chap who has needed to ride so much change over the last 3 months and now needs his 'anchor'. He is welcoming to people and soon bonds into a family. He has been that 'special only dog' with a status including laps, armchairs, sleeping on the bed and free roam of the house whilst out. He loves his walks and though can pitch himself a little if unsure in a situation, generally takes it from other dogs and holds no grudge. He has his 'corners' rounded off as a terrier and generally seeks the 'genteel life' with his toast buttered please!

Bart needs a terrier "feet on the floor" home where he isn't going to meet too many nerves or allow him to take the 'helm'. He needs to be shown the routine, praised to the hilt to booster his deleted sense of Self so he can puff his chest out and know himself to be that loved special dog again following his bereavemment. Everything else will "wash off "his back. He is newly neutered, chipped and vax'd. He is a 'catch' and if we personally were looking for another terrier Bart would be that terrier for us!
