Good Luck Vibes Required......

Well have just spent an hour or so completing an application form.......

For those of you havnt read my other posts I am working just now but it is causing me a LOT of stress and anxiety which I am finally getting a grip on (after 5 months!!)

Anyway the job I am applying for is in the same field but is helping with telephone queries rather than offering one to one intensive support.

I don't mind application forms (its what I help others with!! ) but there was a whole section on absence from work, well I have been off 47 days THIS YEAR 41 of those for the same condition....have tried to explain as best the circumstances..but who wants to give someone a job who is never there!!!

Will post it off and keep everything crossed I at least get an interview then I can hopefully put across my case....

Fingers crossed for you, I'm sure when people look at attendance they are looking for people that take every Monday or Friday off, not people that have been genuinely ill with a recurring problem.

As someone in HR, that's what we look for!

Obviously, if it's a recurring illness, such as back pain, we'd recommend seeing our OH doctor and putting measures in place at work to counteract it (proper equipment, new chair etc)

We generally look out for people who "swing the lead"....
