Riddle me this ....

How in god's name can two 'female' hamsters have babies? I took on two hamsters because they were unwanted and you don't want to know where they were going to end up. Well, I was assured they were both female. Just went to clean them out and got the fright of my life when I found two wriggling blobs of pink in the bed.

I'm hoping I've not desturbed them too much and the female won't eat the babies. Going in my favour is I handle the parents every day so they are familier with my scent. Got to work out how to sex a russian hamster and then got to seperate the parents when the babies are moving around freely.

AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Don't you dare laugh at me Vicki!!!

LOL, if they are anything like Syrian hamsters the males have a bulbous tail. The females are..well...rounder on the end.
