Rhianna and the Snake.

Went to a school fete today and they had a reptile display. Rhianna decided she wanted to 'stroke' the snake

There was this Burmese python looking really menacing on the grass only inches away from us.

Yes I half expected her asking if she could have one as a pet cos she wanted some of those large African snails the other week That big one was about 3 inches away from her at one time and she didnt even flinch It kept trying to slither away but the woman kept pulling it back again - after a few minutes it gave up and sat still and then all the kids started to ask her to 'wake it up again'

Yes I am surprised that she hasn't asked for one so far to be honest - there is no way on earth a snake is ever coming in my house - I wouldn't feel safe in bed at night I would have visions of it coming up the stairs and eating me and I think Twinkle the hamster would vote against having one too

I don't think I have met any animal that she is scared of yet - she came down the garden carrying a slug the other week - I went mad with her
