Breagha - 18 month Collie - Glasgow

One I worried for a long time i would have to be posting

This is Breagha
She is around 18 months old and looking for a new home due to personal reasons of a good friend of mine

She is a lovely pup but hasnt had the time spent on her that she should have so does come with a few issues

Good point
She is living in a home with two young children and a dog hating cat and she is very good with them
She is smart (I had 2 times with her and she learnt 'leave it' 'stay' sit come and down in no time at all - and actually bugged the life out of me afterwards to get more training - she is DYING to learn
She is super loving and very pretty
Very ball motivated - will fetch all day - and works for food too

Bad bits
When she was a pup she was hit by a car and is scared of cars - when I had her out I dont think it is a huge problem - she stairs at them - but no lunging or pulling or anything -but that was last year - it may be worse now
They do say she cant be offlead anywhere near cars

She is food possesive and will growl - but never gone for anyone afaik - and i am sure she just needs shown some manners and I suspect one of the children has been a pest around her with food
She has only lately been offlead in the garden so her recal will need a fair bit of work

I know she is a lovely dog who hasnt had the gratest of starts, she hasnt been socalised to much so I dont know what she is like around other dogs or anything
But she is actually pretty good all things considered

Thankyou, me too. If I had the money, space and Mia was more stable I would have her in a shot, really a good smart girl who will reward the amount of work put into her many times over

Kids, cats, dogs, no traffic, local - she sounds perfect for us however we won't be ready till later in the year.

Fingers crossed somebody will come in for her.

One of mine is called Breagh (pronounced Bree-a). Not sure if that's where you had seen the name ?

I saw her owner last night and she is really sensitive to all the changes in her home just now so would be better rehomed sooner rather than later
She has started to be distructive chewing up the sofa and stuff - and suddenly her tolet training is non existant - to the point she will only toilet in the house poor girl
