Please spare a thought for Drew.

Drew is my English butterfly rabbit and he was neutered today, and I went to get him when I got told I could, the receptionist said it was fine to take him home, and I did, unfornatly when I got him out of his carry cage I noticed blood and took him straight back to the vets, the vet doesn't know where the blood is coming from, apparently its not from the neutering, and he now has to spend the night there, and he might need a operation if they can't stop the bleeding, I'm so worried about him, so please spare a thought for him today and hope that he gets better, I'll be very grateful for it.

Ahh poor Drew, when I had Chas done he was really poorly for quite a few days after the op and I really thought I was going to lose him but then he just suddenly picked up and was fine

Positive vibes for a speedy recovery Drew and snuffles from Chas and Lizzie

Thanks Fudgely, right now I just can't stand not knowing whats happening with him, the vet also said that she's not sure whether he will pull through, I'm just so scared for him.

Thanks Chas and Lizzie, I really hope that the same happens for Drew.

Oh poor Drew... hope he gets better asap, when my Isabelle was spayed she was very down in the dumps, but she soon perked up, she also removed all her stitches, so obviously had trained as a veterinary nurse in a former life!
(((HUGS))) hun for you and him xxx

Thanks everyone, Drew has had another surgery, they managed to stop the bleeding and have stitched him up, because while they were doing surgury the glue was breaking away where he had been neutered, I'm going to get another call in the morning to say how he has gone throughout the night.

The vets just rang, I was really hoping to get him home today, but he's she says that he has puss coming out of one of his testicles, so there keeping him in today, so although the original bleeding wasn't from his neuter wounds, the puss is now, how much more can a little rabbit take?
