Update on Obi's training

Well we went to our training on Sunday and it went brilliantly! im so chuffed its unreal. Obi's aggression is fear. We worked with the trainers dog for 30 mins where he was handled by staff at the centre. Rattle bottles then postive renforcement were used and we ended up staying at the class for 2 hours with 9 other dogs. Obi ended the session being totally relaxed and lying watching the other dogs whilst in the arena with them as we only particpated in a few of the exercises, walking through them and aroung them etc. Obviously this is the start of a long journey and im sure there will be set backs but it shows he can do it and also that we can do it. This has given me a lot of confidence out walking and the difference is already noticible as he walked all the way down the road behind his number one enemy with only 2 barks instead of the 5 minutes of madness!
