Top Gear {Who do you think the stig is?

I love top gear, but its been bugging me for ages

Who do you think the stig is?

Perry McCarthy an ex F1 driver has been used a few times. So imo I dont think it's one person and most likely gets rotated.

A guy I know works for a Ferrari dealer. he went on a driving weekend (actually it may have been when he was with Porsche). They were told that one of the instructors at the track was the Stig, but were not told which one, so he doesn't know whether he was taught by the Stig or not!

So, I know he's a racing driver instructor even when he's not on top gear, but I'm not sure that he would be well known (except for being the Stig).

I thought Damen Hill, but Dave says not, and he did tell me why, but I can't remember what that was, so we're wrong there!

I'm sure there's an answer somewhere, we just gotta find it!!!

My OH reckons its Ben Collins but think there's been a few

I remember Chris Evans saying he knew who it used to be but doesn't know the new one.

Doesnt really help though
