Positive vibes so desperately needed for Sam

My boy is 15 and a half and has severe HD and Arthritis which have been steadily worsening as time has progressed.

He's a sleepy boy now that he's older, but still has a spark of mischief and a love of life.

The vet came a couple of weeks ago and because a lump had appeared on his elbow which had started to split the skin, I feared the worst and was over the moon that the vet said it was a pressure sore and that my boy was so happy and contented that his time had not yet come - elated just isn't an apt word to describe my relief, joy and every other positive emotion you can think of.

Anti-biotics finished and the pressure sore is now the size of a golf ball, very sore and very open. He's got another 7 day course of a very strong antibiotics today and is padded and bandaged, but if this treatment doesn't work, I'm going to lose my very, very precious lad.

He needs all the help he can get so any positive vibes going spare, please send them over to him.

Thank you so much.

He's still my baby puppy and my very best friend, bless him.

Many thanks. He's a bit miffed with the big bandage, but it has stopped him licking at the sore and making it worse. I'm just hoping it stays in place until it needs to be changed in a couple of days. Such an awkward place to wrap up effectively, let alone pad out with gauze and cotton wool.
