The other thing I know about Petplan is that when a puppy leaves the breeder, you can no longer register the insurance for the new owners, they have to do it themselves! They say we're not allowed to force the policy on them............which is pretty stupid as it's free anyway

Perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. - I don't have petplan insurance for my dogs either, but usually use the puppy insurance policies.
Yes we were told that we could no longer register a puppy for their Insurance due to FSA regulations, but this letter says different and that the new Puppy policy complies with the FSA regs?

I am confused - not that it takes much!

Ok, I've got the Petplan letter this morning........basically all it says it that we can activate the cover for the new owners, whereas before they had to do it themselves..........but the new scheme will not provide cover for third party liability!

So really not much difference
