Nice places to go with your dog for a day trip?

Hiya,

Its our 5yr anniversary in a couple of weeks so we'd like to do something nice that weekend... and would of course like Gadget to have a nice time too!

We live in Sheffield and would rather not have to travel more than an hour or so each way.

Any suggestions?!

Rother Valley Country Park
Chatsworth House.

Can't think of anymore but Clumber park definately is good for nice days out and not too far away!

How far away from the coast are you Katie ? ( I can't be arsed to look, lol)
Alfie and Daisy love a good trip to the seaside,we went the other weekend and had a whale of a time.We always go to a resturant with outdoor seating and have fish n chips withca bit of fish each for the dogs,a good run around and they love it (they usually get plenty of attention ifrom passers by nto the bargin too!)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY X

Do look out for signs stating whether or not you can take your dogs on the beach though Katie (they are usually miniscule and posted where you cannot easily see them)
i believe you can get a hefty fine.
Generally they aren't allowed on the busiest section, where the donkey rides etc are going on.But should be allowed on other parts,i guess maybe its different rules for differents beaches, not too sure.
We always have a great time at the coast,my two love the beach !
