Henry definitely for me. Last one was about 20yrs old when he finally pegged it. Have used a Dyson upright and not impressed.

we had a dyson - it was pants, sorry but it was. we have a henry now and he's lovely. he gets excercised twice a day every day and is very good at his job!!!!!!

the dyson was not good at getting into corners and then you have to take it apart every 2 mins. don't have time for that - got dogs to walk!!

I had this dilema a couple of months ago too. I used to use an upright, then went on to a Henry, then recently decided I needed an upright again.

I looked around, and was amazed at the selection not to mention the price tag!!!

I chose one in Currys then to be told they don't take cheques!!!!!!!!!!
Ended up in Tesco and bought a Morphy Richards upright for under £70........ really pleased with it too. It's bagless and has an incredible suction on it, so for the money I would say that was a super buy!!

p.s i still have the Henry and it's years old but it stops me having to lug it upstairs.

I think I must be the only Dyson hater in the world.....mine lasted about 4 months before having to go back for the 1st time!

We had a Miele before the Dyson and so went back to the Cat and Dog one after ceremoniously dumping the Dyson in a skip

The only vac for me is a MIELE with a turbo brush. I currently have the 600 which has a 1600 motor, but will replace it with a 2200 shortly. They can be a bit pricey but are excellent and I wouldn't have anything else.

The bags are quite pricey too, about £8 for 5
