We had a great time though the judge this time was a bit odd.
Admittedly Pops was a bit giddy today but in the first class, the first thing she said to me was "have you ever had a GSD before?" Right down her nose like, you know. (I've had 3).
Transpires she does a dog training class which she told me was specifically geared for GSDs and that she is a specialist where they are concerned.
Strange thinks me that A) she hasn't even spotted that Pops is a cross and B) she hands me her business card with a picture of a retriever on it????!
Also googled her classes which have a less than favourable write up.
She didn't really endear herself or her services to me.
I ask you.

Not doing at all well this week
GSD Rescue this show was in aid of so lots of beautiful animals.
We got 5th for best condition and 5th for best puppy which included Best In Class GSD award - even though she is only half GSD (half husky).
By her own admission the judge is not a fan of huskies so we did well to get that.
Not placed at all for prettiest bitch so once again it's official - Pops is ugly!

We are completely soaked so no pics at all, just want to get home, hot shower then a hot meal.

Thank you! My Jadey is nearly 12 and she would not enjoy such an event (she does not enjoy very much of anything, except snuggling with people all day) You are so lucky to have this great place to take pretty Poppy to compete. She does well, too. I'm sure my clumsy Nigredo would never win anything!
