Jessica - 2 year old female Staffie X

Jessica, Staffie X, DOB 09 - West Norwood, South London

Homing Requirements: Jessica needs the safe haven of a family who can nurture her and give her time reference her dog anxiety which has justified roots. Jessica could live with children and cats but no dogs or visiting dogs. Secure garden with panel fencing and exit management. We owe it to Jessica to be in an up-close and comfortable family on the sofa, sleeping beside or at the foot of the bed.

Her Story: Jessica lost her home following being attacked by at least one other dog. Her owner decided rather than treat her (the other dog(s) didn't need treatment), he would put her to sleep through a charitable vets. The vet saved her, treated and spayed her. We agreed to take Jessica in. She went into foster with children and is settling well.

Advert: Jessica is the Best in care. She meets people of all ages with a warm heart and a wagging tail … well a swaying backside actually! Jessica walks well on her lead and has the potential to pull but tends to stand still when she see something of interest like a squirrel or approaching people. She is very visually orientated and anxious around other dogs until she appreciates they aren't interested in her. She likes her walks in the company of her charges and isn't treat orientated as it seems walking outside is a rare and awe inspiring experience.

Jessica is a brown and white Staffie cross. She may have some American Bull in her the vet thinks. She is very pretty with a pink muzzle and her black rose for a nose. Jessica has the scars around her head and neck from being attacked which should become less prominent physically and psychologically as time heals. Jessica is receptive and engaging of all she meets. Jessica exists to love and love she will.
