Have phoned the hospital today, as I still haven't received an appointment with my consultnt, and it is 3 weeks today since my op, and they said I should have an appointment within 2-3 weeks.

Got through to my consultants secretary, who was very nice and polite, and she asked my name, and when I told her, she said they had been talking about me this morning, wondering when to make an appointment for me (they had to wait to hear from the surgeon). This afternoon, she said my file appeared on her desk (from the surgeon), so she will speak to my consultant tomorrow, and try to sort out an appointment (hopefully soon!)

So far i'm ok, just dreading finding out what treatment.....the chemo made me VERY ill last time, it was harder to cope with than the actual illness.

If I don't have a letter with an appointment by Friday, I will call the hospital and ask them to sort it out soon.
Hevvur Im so sorry to hear this, huge hugs, we are going through a similar thing with dougie just now {just waiting on results coming back}
I know what you mean about the chemo having seen dougie last time, its so draining, but on the up side { and you have to find one in this situation} they have caught it early so hopefully your chemo will not be for to long,

big hugs from us and the rotties xx

Thanks again everyone

Finally got my letter........my appointment is 1st June, back with my normal consultant (who's a professor in Lymphoma).
Can't wait to go in a way, cos I have a swelling (was there before the op), that has got worse since the op, and is sore and uncomfortable.
I've also developed a rash (a symptom of Lymphoma)!

hey everyone....been for my appt today.....i have stage 1 lymphoma. I have tumor in my chest(same place as last time) that is 10x6cm, and also the small tumors in my neck. I am going for a bone marrow biopsy on thursday, and i start chemo on 16th. My doc also wants me to have another ct scan, and also an ultra sound on my arm/chest, as she is worried about blood clots, as i have a swelling on my chest through pressure. Until then shes started me on daily warfarin injections. i need chemo for 6 months, and then they are hoping to aim for a stem cell transplant.
