I am so proud of Archie!

Yesterday when we were in the park, there was a little boy 17 months old who was very interested in Archie. His mummy was on the phone so I directed Archie towards another direction just in case he ran up to the boy and knocked him down!
Well the inevitable happened. Mummy and boy continued to walk towards us an Archie (he loves kids) ran up to the boy. There's me running after him saying stop stop like a looney Anyway Archie got to the boy and I though that he was going to jump up at him. He proved me VERY WRONG! He sat there like a good boy wagging his tail and waiting for the boy to say hi to him. They played together for about half an hour and Archie was soooo gentle I couldn't believe it! So I went ahead and let the boy give Archie a treat wih palm spread open. The little boy didn't spread his palm and Archie waited patiently until the boy dropped the treat in his mouth (i think he was scared to hurt him).
I LOVE HIM SOOOOOOO MUCH and I am SOOOOO PROUD of him! :smt007 :smt049
Another good point Archie's bad habbit of sitting down at the end of the park and refusing to walk is going. Yesterday he walked all the way back after a little persuasion with some treats (if he walked nicely). YIPPPEEEE!
And it was Archie's 6month birthday on the 20th and I completely forgot about it SORRY ARCHIE!

I really think the credit definately goes to Archie for being able to recognize the difference between a fully grown adult humand and a very young human that was just about a little bit taller than Archie. How does he know he has to be gentle with them?
It was such a wonderful sight to see the two playing together!
