Tanya, Parsons JRT, 1 year old
Tanya, Parsons JRT, 1 year old
Her Story: Tanya was found stray and unclaimed. She came to us desperately thin and is now putting weight on nicely. She is timid in kennels, but is coaxed around and settles once outside of the kennel situation. Now spayed.
Salient points: Tanya is a longer legged terrier who needs a secure garden, stable harmonious family and sensitive caring people. She would be good with visiting children, but not sure to live with very young children - we have only seen her in a slightly nervous state currently so its hard to say. Tanya has not been tested for cats or small furries. Tanya travels well in a car and can be left for reasonable periods.
Advert: Tanya is a pretty little Parson's Jack Russell who has a whippety feel about her. She has that sensitivity also and is definitely the type of dog a coat goes on at the hint of a chill in the air. Tanya meets dogs nicely and is social. She needs to be less needy than she currently is, to be able to share her house with another, but once established could tolerate visiting dogs with care. Tanya is very loving and loves to plead for cuddles and strokes as you sit in your comfy chair. She enjoys her walks and is house trained. She tolerates being left for periods also.
Tanya is a sweet terrier who is quite accomplished and to a terrier owner is going to be a 'ready made'. She needs time to get over her ordeal and we just know she is going to join a wonderful family to enjoy her summer holidays, but “hey Tanya ... this is no holiday” ... this is the family of your dreams!
“Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".
