Sigh.
I'm just beginning in obedience and trying to learn all I can without the benefit of a dog-club or class. I bought a book called Clicker Training for Obedience by a chap called Morgan Spector, who used to work Shelties. They're only a few inches bigger than JRTs but he did quite well with them. My crossbreed is not the classic obedience dog (BC, WSD, GSD, Goldie), but I'm just interested to see how far we get...

Best of luck in your next comp!!

Thanks for the Kamal workshop link SB. I first saw him not too long ago up at the KC Building, Stoneleigh Park and was very impressed. I don't do competitive obedience but I might go along to this one as a spectator as there will no doubt be lots to learn which will help me in any future dog activities I might get involved in. Also, as it's practically on my doorstep I'd be silly to waste the opportunity

I'm waiting for a call back to see if there are any spectator places left. I noticed on their booking form it says send cash only - have you done this? Don't really like sending cash in the post.
