Good morning/afternoon all.

Waiting for a delivery so bored out of my mind. It couldn't come yesterday when it was peeing it down with rain. It has to come on a day when the weather is nice and we would have enjoyed our walk much better. I'm hoping it turns up soon so we can get Rosie out

Good afternoon everyone

Yes, sun is out, should be a nice day

Not much to report

Brenda - As others have said, you are on your way, there will be lulls and seemingly nothing is happening but that's always the case with house sales.

See you soon.

The delivery has just arrived thank heavens. That's my porch filled with wall boards in cardboard until the plumber can get them on the walls next week .

Finally, the agreements have come through from the estate agents so hopefully we can get in on the market once I've signed everything and sent it back

My problem is finding somewhere that a landlord will let me rent. They go so quickly and it is with a lot of hope that I am accepted.

Get yourself on as many estate agent and renting agents as you can find in a 50 mile radius. The more the better.

Ring them on a regular basis (some might say 'pester' them ) Get on first name terms with as many as possible, offer to increase their commission (but not by a lot ) Try to 'get to know' them so they will think of you rather than some other client when a new rental property comes on the market.

Fingers crosed for you

Following on from Losos post a friend of mine sent the paperwork back to the estate agents with a picture of all of them and suitcases and standing outside a new build house....with the wording on the postcard/picture "The quicker you move the quicker we do"
