I hope so, before the smear a few years back i went to have a coil fitted and i passed out no real reason just went out like a light and then in my smear i felt woosie and had to concentrate really hard on talking - so i am more worried about that than anything else

aww you will be alright when you have this done all the nurses in the room are all talking to you making you feel at ease i always end up talking about gareth and before i know it they say all done

Sorry mutthouse, don't know what this is, never heard of it, but from the other's posts it sounds like you'll breeze through it. Try not to worry too much, and I hope it all goes well for you with good results too at the end, that's the important bit isn't it!

The same happened to me. Apparently, it's something to do with the nerve endings in the cervix.
