I don't have the book but I have the DVD (came free with a dog magazine). I thought it was okish but old fashioned and that sound aversion was massively overused.

I am doing my degree with Cambridge Institute of Training and Behaviour and Colin Tennant is one of the senior tutors. I have his dvds aswell as they are part of my study. I think with all of his work, he is very experienced but take from it what you will - I don't like using sound aversion too often and as previously said, he uses it quite a lot. I think as with all trainers and behaviourist who are brave enough to put their views out there for people to learn from, take from it what you will.

You should read everything you can get your hands on so you can begin to sort the wheat from the chaff.
