10 week puppy doesn't seem to drink from water bowl

hi my 10 week old shar pei only seems to drink water that is mixed with her food and never just normal water from a water bowl. any suggestions anyone and should i be concerned. also her stool was quite dark yesterday would it have anything to do with dehydration or lack of nutrition (shes was on a strict diet because she grew too quick and legs couldnt support her weight). would appreciate any advice thank you

You might be in an area that has a high chemical content in the water? Water does taste different in different areas of the country, so that could be it as well.
I would try using a different type of bowl (e.g. ceramic rather then metal) to see if she`s just being fussy, and only putting a little at a time in there. Then you can tell immediately if she`s had any.

Have you asked your vet? I wouldn't like to take a guess with a pup as young as this....
