Honestly.........why??

Just got back from the school run and I am still in shock! I spotted one of the Mums had a little Chihuahua in her arms, so obviously I had to go over and say hello.

Well it was wearing a diamonte tutu...........I kid you not!............that made me recoil a bit to begin with, apparently she has a lot of clothes including a fur coat!!?? No collar, as she won't walk on a lead, she is nearly a year old! Plus her claws were very long and beginning to curl. The Mum said she isn't sure whether to breed from her or not because the dog has no papers,

Then she said that her 4 year old daughter, whom the dog was bought for!, has lost interest in the dog and wants to get rid of it

At this point I was feeling so sorry for the dog and said if her daughter didn't want her we would have her

Why do some people have dogs???????????

Grrrrr rant over, calm is restoring

God!!! I can't stand dressing up dogs! Hideous! Poor little thing. I hope she gives it to you. Obviously not had a walk judging by its toenails....just used as a dolly
I used to hate having to put coats on my sighthounds...and they were dog coats!

Baby substitute thats what i reckon these dogs are, poor thing. I was looking for a medical dog boot for Kym as she has a recurring corn and some of the things that came up on there, diamante shoes, trainers.......mostly American of course, i blame Paris Hilton and the like for this trend.

That poor dog is really being abused. I wonder if it can walk at all with those long toe nails. I too get very angry when people humanise dogs treating them as dolls/babies.

Baby booties make great dog boots - look for the ones with rubber soles.

I hate dogs being dressed up. Toy dogs do need their nails trimmed regularly, poor wee soul.
