Weiler At Wasdale (pic heavy Britains Best View enhanced by Marius!!)

Sid got us all up v. early so we could get there before the Bank Holiday traffic spoiled it all!! It has always been one of our most favourite places to go, it is so atmospheric.

We had a wonderful time and most people drove straight on & didn't get out and walk. I really cannot understand why, they miss out on so much by doing that!!

Britains Best View? What do you reckon?

I liked these two shots so much, I couldn't decide between them which I preferred. He looks so different in both!!

and me - it's only been three seconds since my last pose!!

The screes are amazing, the way the light plays across the whole valley - the photos really don't do it justice.

A Ewe with a View!

Okay, now for some fun - let's play Spot The Sheep (yes, honestly there is one visible in this pic!!!)

I adore this one

He's not the most elegant of water-babies!!!

Sorry there are so many - be grateful I only posted these, I was very trigger happy & took about 80 shots in total lol

Brilliant pics, Marius looks fabulous of course

We love it there too, although we're not as close as you obviously. We have stayed at an apartment at Greendale just 1/2 mile up the road from Wastwater a few times
