Problem with iTunes....

Trying to download an album for my iPod from iTunes. When I click 'buy album' it tells me iTunes needs the latest edition of iTunes to download it.

So, I downloaded the latest version from the link the message above game me, and still it won't let me buy the album. I have restarted the computer and tried buying it again, and it still won't let me!

I'm logged on to iTunes and have funds in my account.

Anybody got any ideas as to what the problem may be?
