London always seems to be warmer than most parts of the UK - not fair! It's freezing here

Ditto that Dibby. Which do you prefer though? This weather we're having where it's so wet underfoot and muddy in the park or cold, crisp and dry so our dogs don't look so bedraggled after their walks.

Our lawn is like a quagmire, and my daffodils will be out by Christmas. Need some frost.

Mud mud everywhere and the river Severn is in flood .
I have got plants flowering on the rockery , strawberries on the perpetual fruiters (they taste horrid without some sun) and there is a rose flowering in next doors garden

Unbelievable temperatures.
We are getting 13c at night which would be about average for August

Popster I would rather have dry cold and crisp

It does seem to milder here than some other parts of the Uk.

It is very wet underfoot and I'm lucky my small dogs are easy to wipe down or rinse off in a washing up bowl .

Man up Azz. You've always been a wuss when the weather gets chilly lol.

I'd rather have freezing cold and crisp than all this mild muddy wet slop we seem to have at the moment.

It's been quite mild here the last couple of days. In fact I was roasted yesterday when I went out as I had the usual winter wear on and it was too much. I blame it on my house being so cold cos I'm freezing sitting there I think it will be as cold outside

I have to agree with you there Not much fun wearing a waterproof jacket in the warm weather.

Can't wait for the cold frosty mornings with that winter smell in the air.
