Bees (chasing)

My dog has already been stung by a bee, but continues to chase them around the garden, any ideas on how to stop him? when he got stung before I thought that would have put a stop to it but no. Luckily he had no reaction though we could see the sting he wouldn't let us near it don't blame him really. Anybody else having probs or do I just have a daft stubburn Chihuahua???

I don't have a good suggestion, but do want to point out how serious it can be. Taffy managed to catch what was likely a yellow jacket. It apparently stung her throat on the way down. The vet said if I hadn't taken her straight in, her throat would have swelled shut and she would have suffocated.

Why do you think she's chasing them?

Is the noise or movement a trigger?

Has the dog got enough to do aside from this?

Re stopping it I would associate chasing them with something negative but not from the bee, perhasps disc (training discs) could be useful.

I have the exact same problem with Len. Although he's never managed to catch a bee yet, he has been stung several times by wasps. He screams the place down - I'm sure the neighbours think I'm killing him - but this doesn't deter the pleb from chasing the next one.

....and of course it's wasp/bee season already
