Photo's of Luke

Whilst trying to sort out some more photo's for the girls to post, I found these

These were taken within a few days of Luke coming to our home (July 2002). He weighed just 32kg and hadno confidence whatsoever He didn't know how to play and he was agoraphobic. We were also told that he may have EPI, which was ruled out by the vet after tests.

Now he weighs 43kg, plays outside, loves swimming and enjoys meeting other people and dogs. We would never have dreamed a photo like this would ever have been possible...

Thanks Everyone

I can't take all the credit though. If it weren't for forums such as Dogweb and the great support of Jack Thompson (retired president of German Shepherd Welfare) I wouldn't have known how to deal with Luke's issues. All I did was listened, read loads and did what I felt best Sometimes our efforts failed such as dealing with fireworks (this can still be a big problem), but at least now he's bouncing around like a great big pup and learning to enjoy life as he should.
