High Noon!

Well, as I sat in the sun at the back knitting, a long drama unfolded itself before my very eyes!

Feral was snug-nested in the grass and wee dog knew he was there and just could not keep away..

Feral for all his closed eyes and peaceful mien knew wee dog was there and waited until wee dog took liberties to biff her across the face

But did it deter wee dog? Nah!



This went on for hours..back and forth.. on and on..

lol! She is half terrier and just will not give in.

A very determined little terrier.

She's not a quitter is she?

After the bat episode too..Still keeps her busy and she was raised with my two cats so just wants to play. Sadly collie has less friendly ideas in mind so..Feral is very good really!

You can see the bassett in her front legs and deep chest. Pretty wee lass she is.

The bounce of a Jack Russell and the weight of a basset is a strange combination..

We thought she would stop bouncing at 2 years but she is 8 now and still at it.

She was a rescue. Her mother and another Jack were dumped when in pup so we knew the Jack side The other litter were clearly fully JRT but wee dog puzzled a while. Maybe dachshund we thought, but then the front legs and deep chest gave it away.

We had her young so she is an easy dog unlike collie. A comedian of course and often I cannot get down the stairs for the bouncing dog at the bottom.
And what a guard dog! Ferocious! In bark anyways
