Good morning everyone - finally.....
Morning all,Having a nice lazy morning today, as I have to take Roxy to the vet, but not until 10.30
, so I’m working from home…. (yeah, right!)She has to have a blood test as she’s on Metacam long-term, and it has to be checked every so often. Blood taken in the evening tends to separate and is no good for testing.
I pity Dean (vet) and Clair (his nurse) as Roxy is a screamer. I’m considering buying them earplugs for Christmas…… Hopefully, it won’t be too bad - wish us luck!
After that little episode, I then have to go to Staples to get a couple of files for work. Whilst there, I will stare longingly…. mesmerised at all the pretty pens and pencils. I really should get out more…. By then it should be lunchtime….. ho hum!

Last night, my wife and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, "I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
She got up, unplugged the TV and then threw out my beer.

nice and sunny today,good luck with the bloods,having been a" Claire"for 23 yrs she has my utmost sympathy

not to bad a day for us today. off to get our car from nissan. then will take blackie for a good walk. weather is quite nice here at the moment.

at todays gem.Hope Roxy is ok at the vets I think we get wound up days before we get there thinking they are going to show us up then they behave really well.Pop some cotton wool in your ears Morning all have a nice day.

The birthday girl was curled up on my pillow when I left this morning.
