Anybody fancy a walk? Notts/Derby area.

I would like to get Teg meeting more new dogs.
As he can be grumpy with dogs than get in his face it would probably need to be a lead walk to start with.
He is fine with dogs that ignore him and once he has got used to the idea they aren't going to eat him he can sometimes want to play.
Weekends would be better for me, I live near Long Eaton.

So any takers?!

Hello, I live in Sneinton/Colwick, but have no car so can't go too far.

I'm looking to socialise my dogs more as they can be a bit nervous.

I've not been living here long and have been looking for a dog-walking group or someone to walk with but most people seem really reluctant to let their dogs greet others.

Colwick country park is lovely, would that be convenient for you?

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Colwick park is about half an hour from me so sounds ok, I've been to holme pierrepont for race for life one year and I think it's close to there?

Would you be ok with your dogs maybe being on lead to start off with?
If yes then sounds good! I could do this Saturday if that is any good?
I don't think you can PM yet can you? Do you want to post your email address and I'll send you my mobile number?

Katie

Hi Katie, really sorry for the late reply, my laptop broke the other week and I've only just got it back.

My email address is [email]email removed/email], let me know if you'd be interested in a walk this weekend

Sarah

Am I allowed to join in?! Jed would be the problem to start with, you know how excited and interested he gets in other dogs but then he soon forgets them. Jessie and Flynn wouldnt be interested in Teg.

I didnt even see this post.

Just realised that my email address has been taken off, so I'm not sure how else to get it to you...I've checked the box on my profile settings that says 'allow v-card download', so other members should be able to see my email address now I think.

And I'm fine to have them on the lead, I'll let them have a run on the way home. My dogs don't really bother other dogs after the initial meet and greet anyway.
