Cutie - Collie X - F - 5 Months
COMING SOON FROM LAW IN IRELAND
Cutie is a sweet little collie x girl who is coming to Wiccaweys from our friends at Limerick Animal Welfare. Cutie is around 5 months old.
Cutie is very small, white with brown and she's deaf.
Cutie was found on the road and cars were honking her to get out of the way - but sure she couldn't hear them.
Her Foster Mum in Ireland is working with her to show her signs and she is a very fast learner. Cutie is very agile, she loves jumping though hoola hoops and she would do great at agility. Shes
Cutie is not going to be a very big dog, she is very dainty.
Taking on a deaf dog isn't as daunting, or as hard work as you would imagine - it's just a case of thinking differently on how you communicate with your dog - and in most cases people are already doing similar things with hearing dogs. You just need to exaggerate your hand signals.
We have several people who have adopted a deaf dog from us, so Wiccaweys has a ready built support group and network in place to guide and help any prospective new home for Cutie.
If you feel you can offer Cutie the home she deserves, please telephone us on: 07905 203254 (please note we only accept enquiries for dogs by telephone - we like to have a chat with you!)
