Neighbours & Decorations

Okay while I was reading Kazz's post about the 8ft polar bear it got me thinking of my neibour accross the road.

She is an elderly lady with grown up children (like 30 odd) but each year I think the decorations on the house, trees and garden seem to get brighter and brighter. I swear to god its like a fecking arcade every time I look out of the window. The decorations always go up at the start of October with the lights on a bit later, it just looks ghastly, there are lights all over the garden on the trees a huge santa claus that snow spray all over the window and tinsel everywhere......anybody else suffer from neighbours like this?

There's a woman in the street behind me and she's got her xmas decorations up. She starts around end of October and then gradually bits get added. I must admit it looks really good but apparently her electricity bill is £45 a week during the xmas period

Well I'm just sticking to the plain old xmas tree and the kiddies are making the decorations this year like the paper chains and stuff (it'll keep 'em occupied for a while )
