Sheridan, male Patterdale x, DOB 2009
Sheridan, Patterdale x, DOB 2009 – Kingston Upon Thames
Homing Requirements: Sheridan needs a family where his needs and safety are central. He needs his housetraining to be watched and to be tactfully focused into the garden for the first week. Sheridan will come good with dogs in terrier hands with controlled socialisation. Not for cats or small furries. Needs a secure garden and exit management. Needs to travel with a harness securing him in the car and not in a travel crate.
His Story: Sheridan was found stray in Ireland and the rescue centre had him for 6 months and asked Terrierrescue to take him on so that he will be homed with an understanding terrier experienced family. Sheridan is neutered, chipped and fully vax'd. Sheridan is currently in boarding kennels in Chessington.
Advert: Sheridan is a real self-assured Irish man and makes himself comfortable wherever he is with a casual calmness. He is full of surprises; we are familiar with terriers but Sheridan? well we never! Excited then chilled; busy, focused to 'whatever!' He is a cool dude who is comfortable being outside and amazed being inside. He is getting to grips with housetraining but has a habit outside of using human legs a lamp posts ... yes there is a little work still to do! He is a quick learner and smart but not interested in food!
Sheridan is a ?4 year old Patterdale Terrier x. He is wire coated and will need regular grooming. He is tolerant of hand stripping and may tend to shy away when bored, so better to keep on top of his needs, rather than an intensive 'makeover' as we have needed to do. Sheridan likes to be close so access to furniture please. You won't know he is there. Ideal for a work at home situation. A fascinating little chap who is going to be held in high esteem by his terrier family.
