How important is it to keep puppy in a week after 2nd jab???

I was just wondering how important it is to keep my puppy in for a week after his 2nd jab? he is getting very hyper and really needs to get out. he is due to go out friday but is it bad to take him out 1 or 2 days earlier???

any advice will be very helpful, thanks

No one even the vet can honestly answer that one.

Why take the chance for 1 or 2 days.

Its nearly Friday, so I think I would see it out now. Perhaps you could take him for some car rides to get him used to travelling. Maybe visits to friends. He is OK out in the garden and you can take him other places if you carry him, so a trip out is not out of the question.

only because he is going mad in the house ect... the garden is tiny so he isnt getting much exercise at all.

he is just getting frustrated with everything and bitting more again.

Sounds normal to me! puppies at that age don't need formal 'exercise', just lots of stimulation, play and some training.

Hi Alice try playing games like hide and seek, puppies love this, and hiding a treat under a plastic beaker ( let him see the treat go under first ) it all helps to keep a puppy stimulated.
Only two days to go, it will pass very soon.

My vet actually told me I could take Ben out 2 days after his 1st jab!!
TBH I think you are expecting too much from a walk, puppies can be hyper and shouldnt be walking that far
afraid you are going to find other ways to keep pup tired
how about kongs?? more training

i will try more games with him, i know the walk will help him calm down a lot.
i dont think im expecting to much from the walk. he is much better when we carried him out and when we got back he went to sleep. he is bored in the house even though im playing with him untill he is tired. there is only so much you can do in the house.

he is going to puppy classes tomorow which will be good he just needs to get out and be somewhere new to explore.
