Girl mauled by dogs

So sad.....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/6959146.stm

Sorry, she hasn't died....... I'm blaming jet lag.

Have asked mods to change the title.

Sorry if I've upset anyone.......

It doesn't say she died but suffered horrific injuries requiring plastic surgery. Horrible incident though. Wonder what triggered the dogs?

Wow, what a horrific story. Thank God the little girl is still here today. I can't even begin to imagine what a nightmare that must be. Any mother's first instinct is to protect her child but still, must have been petrifying.

awe the poor wee sole, to see two dogs of this size on your child pulling her around must be the most gut wrenching terrifing thing in the world to see, a few seconds would feel like weeks, I can imagine they felt useless when trying to get the dogs off, I would never forgive myself if My dogs did this, its every large breed owners worst nightmare, I never become complacent with kids and dogs, its just not worth a kid being hurt,
after the attack over a year ago when a baby was killed, im sure you all remember, I took my leave form the breed forum I used to go on, I had been sickend by the response of most of the rotty owners on it, they threw blame in every direction but there own, I couldnt believe they would do this, a dog is just that a dog, no dog is worth the face/life and metal well being of a child,
I hope she makes a full recovery and is not left with the scars that we cant see,
