Yes it is harmful, and that's the reason
for the petition.

I have been so busy with this, getting all
the info required to get PAH to pull these treats
from sale,I have a large organisation backing me,
and also the Rabbit Welfare Association.
I contacted my local council today and told them
that I think PAH must be in breach of some law
for selling toxic products, sent them the e-mail
I received confirming these treats were toxic to
the animals.
If anyone is unsure of what I'm talking about,
I'm talking about PAH selling eucalyptus treats
for rabbits guinea pigs and hamsters, this is toxic
to all animals not just these, and they are talking
about putting the leaves into feed god forbid!,
that's what the petition is about,as eucalyptus is
put into bedding as a matter of course, and I
know of someone who lost quite a few piggies through
eatiing their bedding that had eucalyptus in it.

to be honest, i wouldnt sign any petition that just gives a brief statement made as fact, without offering actual information, reasons, and evidence.

agree with krusewalker.

Can you post information with regard to the product, and information relating to the effects of eucalyptis on an animal?

I have got the evidence and people
are taking notice at least the ones who
matter like the rabbit association,I'm doing this
for the animals,they don't have a voice,I
know I'm right and I'm trying to save lives,
so if you bought something that was toxic for
your dog and you did'nt know and your dog died
from eating it,then that's ok is it?,I don't think so,
you'd be angry that a company would be making
a product that was toxic and passing it off as
safe,and that's exactly what's happening here.
I make no apologies for what I'm trying to do,and
I do have support from people who keep these
animals,so I really don't need to justify myself
to you.

go to Cornell university website
animal science dept poisonous plants/
eucalyptus.
But as I've said I do have a large and respected
organisation confirming that eucalyptus is toxic,
I have done my homework and asked people who
would know about ecualyptus, the trouble is in britain
noone knows much about it,I can confirm that it
is put into cough medicine and throat lozenges, but
it has been diluted,in it's pure form it is lethal.
If people don't want to sign then that's fine, but
as I said this is for the animals, they can't speak for
themselves,so someone has to do it for them.
If you bought something for your dog to eat and it
was toxic but you did'nt know and your dog died
from eating this, you would'nt be very happy would you?
no,because you would think the company that made the
product would know better, this is what I'm trying to
stop.
