Career break/year out?

Anyone here taken or know someone who has taken a year out ie a career break and if so what did you/they do?

Not worked now since early 2006 due to poor health, and to be honest I now wonder how I managed to get everything done when I did work full time.

Better now and still at home, and spend most of my time doing accounts, paperwork, business related for the oh.

The boys, also get a lot of my time, walking etc. I spend special time with my family ( awake ) rather than asleep on the sofa xx
