Dog friendly pubs in Keswick??

Hi there everyone

We are going away for the weekend on Friday to Keswick in Cumbria for two nights.

Does anyone know any dog friendly pubs in Keswick?

Many thanks in advance

Hi Vicki,

Thanks so much :0) we are looking forward to it - love the Lakes:0)

Just fancied going for a couple on the evening to rest tired feet and paws and thought if I could find a dog friendly pub before it would help us plan a bit better.

Not sure about specific places, but just wanted to post about a site called Dog Friendly Britain. If you Google it, it should come up right at the top (can't post the link as it contains a forum!).

It's a really handy website for when you go on your hols as you can look up which places accept dogs.

Hope you have a fab time, I love the Lakes!

We have stayed at the Coledale Inn at Braithwaite which is just a couple of miles outside Keswick. I was allowed to sleep on mothers bed and we were allowed in the bar where the food was plentiful walkers fare (so I believe !)
We would highly recommend it - real fires if the weather is poor and a beer garden to sit outside.
