Athletic shows - for KC

Hi Laura and others who go to athletic sows can a mere Kc reg Stafford enter? Or would we be looked down on And is there a "list" anywhere that tells you when and where they are on? ie next year.

Like the Ed Reid shows?

Hello Pete.

Yes she does agility and we have just found a new proper flyball club - only done it half heartledly before, but now I think she enjoys the flyball more than the agility (which is saying something)she is ball crazy though
Tess will hopefully start when she's older but did not do anything With Sal but easy stuff till she was about 18 months old. Same for Tess - I'm looking at the working trials but not sure? Looking for something different - not what you expect a KC reg Staff to do so to speak - improve the profile etc etc - don't mean to sound big headed or anything ops: but Sal is a well bred KC Staff from show winning parents and the fact she does different things is surely for the good of the breed - and the dog not the owners.

Why considering it for Cody?

My only problem with agility is stopping her going round the course twice

Hi Kazz,

The Bull Breed shows (Ed Reid, Mastini) any bull breed can be entered in the competitions whether they are KC, non-KC infact it does not matter whether the dogs ancestry is known.

Not every dog entered is very fit either any dog can go in the ring or undertake in the weightpull and the other activities etc but obviously with regards to conformation more emphasis is placed on dogs that are very athletic so a dog who is heavier will most likely be looked over.

If you go to the Cosmos website and click on whats new there are show pictures from the last mastini bull breed bash in Bornemouth. www.cosmos-staffords.co.uk we are hoping to get down to the next one in Bornemouth from everybody I speak to it seems a really great day & such a nice friendly atmosphere!

Laura
